  He is the only son of Imam Askari (as), the 11th Imam of the Shiites.

Imam Mahdi (AS) at the dawn of mid-Shaban 255 AH in Samarra has opened his eyes. His nurse is Narjis or Nargis. After five years of his father’s life and his great-grandson, Narjes Khatoon, in 260 year he sought the testimony of Hazrat Askari (as) As Imam Ali (as) and Prophet Yahya (PBUH) who were prophesying at childhood, at the age of five, they held the office of Shiite Imamate. That magnanimous after the absence of time, with the formation of a universal justice system, will grant divine ordinances across the land of sovereignty

The Imam of Time (PBUH) is the 12th Imam of the Shiites. They are Imam Hussein (PBUH) generation, who is martyred in Karbala, along with 72 of his followers. Mahmud (PBUH) will fight the terrorists and the children of Isis. The twelfth Imam will work with Christians does not have.
